Security Supervisor Raffles & Fairmont The Red Sea (Saudi National)

About the Role

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Security Supervisor for Raffles & Fairmont The Red Sea. This full-time position is based in Tabuk, specifically covering Umluj and Tabuk, and requires a Saudi National. The role involves overseeing security operations within two nature-focused resorts, which include 361 rooms, 11 dining concepts, and a spa, all situated within the Red Sea Project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead assigned Security colleagues during shifts, ensuring correct deployment, punctuality, grooming, equipment readiness, and clear briefings.
• Supervise daily Security operations across various posts, including the Control Room, lobby, loading bay, back-of-house, colleague entrance, visitor access, VIP parking, guest floors, outdoor areas, and patrol zones.
• Ensure essential company-issued equipment, such as communication devices, torchlights, pocket masks, keys, passes, and first-aid items, are available, controlled, and used properly.
• Conduct regular checks on Security colleagues and posts to confirm vigilance, adherence to standards, and effective handover procedures.
• Manage access points for colleagues, casual labor, vendors, contractors, suppliers, visitors, and vehicles, ensuring entry through authorized channels.
• Maintain vigilance at pass counters and support the Visitor Management System, contractor controls, vehicle checks, and delivery access procedures.
• Perform roving safety and security patrols within and around the resort, including guest areas, heart-of-house, accommodation/service areas, and external surroundings.
• Identify fire hazards, unsafe acts, suspicious behavior, procedural breaches, or maintenance risks and take immediate corrective or escalation action.
• Oversee the Hotel Security Control Room during shifts, ensuring accurate handling of official documents according to SOP.
• Monitor CCTV coverage, alarms, access control, duress systems, fire-life-safety alerts, and security equipment, reporting faults or unusual observations immediately.
• Support preliminary CCTV review for investigation and training purposes, adhering to privacy and evidence-handling standards.
• Coordinate with Engineering, IT, or relevant departments to report system faults, door lock issues, safe box concerns, and security equipment defects.
• Respond promptly to security, medical, fire, duress, lost child, crowd control, guest concern, suspicious activity, and other emergencies.
• Perform First Aid/CPR/AED where trained and required, and coordinate with internal and external emergency responders.
• Gather facts, document incidents, prepare end-of-shift reports, complete accident/incident forms, and maintain accurate logbook entries.
• Handle lost and found reports, key and pass inventory, safe box issues, door lock concerns, lift control, VIP movement support, crowd control, and ushering duties as assigned.
• Coach Security Officers and CCTV colleagues on post standards, report writing, guest interaction, emergency procedures, and professional conduct.
• Ensure all activities comply with hotel policies, security protocols, confidentiality standards, Saudi regulations, and brand expectations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant security role.
• Strong understanding of ultra-luxury wellness concepts and brand alignment.
• Experience in pre-opening operations, project coordination, and setup of wellness facilities is highly preferred.
• Ability to create culturally relevant wellness experiences aligned with the Red Sea destination.
• A proactive, anticipatory approach with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
• Impeccable grooming and personal presentation aligned with luxury standards.

Work Environment

This position is based in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, covering operations in Umluj and Tabuk. The role is full-time within a luxury resort setting, requiring adherence to high standards of service and security.
