El Seif Operation and Maintenance is seeking a qualified Agricultural Engineer to join its team in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to the successful planning, execution, and maintenance of landscaping projects within the region.

Role Overview

The Agricultural Engineer will lead and manage various landscaping initiatives, ensuring adherence to project specifications, environmental considerations, and budgetary requirements. This role involves direct supervision of field operations, technical guidance, and the implementation of sustainable practices to optimize landscape health and water usage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage landscaping projects from the planning phase through to execution.
• Supervise landscape maintenance activities, irrigation systems, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Prepare comprehensive landscape designs, considering environmental factors, technical specifications, and budget constraints.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all work complies with project specifications and quality standards.
• Manage and optimize irrigation systems to ensure efficient water consumption.
• Monitor plant health, implement pest control measures, manage fertilization schedules, and oversee seasonal maintenance programs.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Provide technical guidance and support to supervisors and field teams.
• Promote and implement sustainable landscaping practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in landscaping.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, horticulture, soil science, fertilizers, and pest management techniques.
• Proven experience in both landscape construction and maintenance.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
• Knowledge of CAD and GIS software is considered an advantage.
