About the Role

Arrow Food Group is seeking a Cashier (Saudi Nationals Only) to join their team in Tabuk. This full-time role is essential for managing daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in collections, and maintaining compliance with company policies and financial procedures. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose

The Cashier is responsible for the comprehensive management of daily cash, cheque, and bank transfer collections. Key duties include preparing receipt vouchers, handling petty cash transactions, accurately posting customer payments into the system, and ensuring all financial reconciliations and reports align with established company policies and finance procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect cash, cheques, and bank transfers from the sales team.
• Prepare receipt vouchers for payment collections as required.
• Manage petty cash, including processing payments for petty cash expenses.
• Prepare petty cash expense reports and post all petty cash expenses in the system.
• Send petty cash reimbursement requests to the Head Office when necessary.
• Manage Receipt Voucher (RV) books.
• Prepare and submit daily collection reports.
• Deposit cash, cheques, and bank transfers into Arrow's authorized bank accounts.
• Collect bounced cheques from the bank.
• Post all customer payments into the system after verification from the Bank Statement of Account (SOA).
• Conduct monthly Cash in Transit (CIT) reconciliation and resolve any reconciling issues.
• Follow up with the sales team for payment collection against RVs issued from handheld devices but not yet handed over to the cashier.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a cashier or similar financial role.
• Proficiency in managing daily cash, cheque, and bank transfer collections.
• Experience with petty cash management and expense reporting.
• Ability to accurately post customer payments and perform reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of financial procedures and company policies.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, within the Arrow Food Group. The role involves working closely with the sales team and finance department to ensure smooth financial operations.
