About the Accountant-General Role

Four Points is seeking a Full-time Accountant-General to join our team in Jeddah. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our financial operations and supporting the overall financial health of the company.

Role Overview and Objectives

The Accountant-General is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, managing cash and financial data, and preparing various financial reports. This position requires strict adherence to company policies and procedures, maintaining a high level of professionalism, and actively supporting team goals to contribute to a cohesive work environment.

Core Duties and Financial Management

• Verify figures, postings, and financial documents for accuracy.
• Organize, secure, and maintain all financial files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in accordance with established policies.
• Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information efficiently.
• Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and maintain financial records using appropriate systems.
• Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, and payroll reports and tables.
• Execute period-end closing procedures and generate specified reports accurately.
• Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements following company procedures.
• Follow up on and resolve past due accounts and vendor invoices until full payment or resolution is achieved.
• Prepare daily consolidated deposits for all cash received by cash handling employees.
• Document, maintain records of, communicate, and act upon all identified Cash Variances.
• Prepare, maintain, and administer all cashier banks and contracts.

• Ensure personal appearance and uniform are clean and professional at all times.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of proprietary company information.
• Protect company assets and safeguard the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
• Communicate with colleagues and stakeholders using clear and professional language.
• Prepare and review written documents with accuracy and completeness.
• Answer telephones using appropriate professional etiquette.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all team members.
• Actively support the team in achieving common goals and objectives.
• Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess 0-1 years of experience in an accounting or financial role. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a foundational understanding of financial principles are essential for success in this position. Proficiency in using computerized financial information systems is also required.
