About the Role of Culinary Instructor

Catrion Group is seeking a Culinary Instructor to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time role involves maintaining academy accreditation standards and developing comprehensive culinary programs. The instructor will be responsible for preparing and delivering engaging lectures and practical demonstrations for various courses and workshops, with a focus on supporting specialized training for aviation clients and airport lounges. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and adhere to Academy accreditation requirements.
• Create and maintain curriculum, syllabus, lesson plans, teaching materials, modules, recipes, and test/exams for programs, courses, and workshops.
• Prepare for and teach programs, lectures, and practical demonstrations for courses and workshops.
• Support specialized training for Airport Lounges, Aviation Clients, and all relevant programs.
• Support program development and delivery.
• Assist with administrative, operational, and reporting requirements.
• Assist the Director with program logistics, budget planning, and reconciliation as needed.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Provide induction support and deliver presentations as requested.
• Provide visitor tour support as requested.
• Assist with student interviews and support intakes, tours, and orientations.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstation, kitchen, hospitality room, and all classrooms.
• Communicate with and support guest lecturers and visitors to the Academy.
• Provide translation support verbally and in writing as requested, if applicable.
• Maintain a database of training participants, performance evaluations, tests/exams, and achievements.
• Maintain training summary reports and program assessments.
• Provide support in the planning and delivery of Graduation Ceremonies, Academy Events, and activities.
• Perform other assigned tasks as required.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 2-5 years of experience in a culinary instruction or related field. A strong understanding of culinary arts and instructional methodologies is essential. The ability to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs is also required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah. The Culinary Instructor will work within an academy setting, collaborating with colleagues and supporting various training initiatives, including those for aviation clients and airport lounges.
