Electrical Technician

About the Role

Saudi Bauer Foundations Company is seeking an Electrical Technician to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time role is designed for professionals with 3-5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting. The Electrical Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure efficient and reliable operations.

Role Overview

The Electrical Technician will play a key role in minimizing equipment downtime, enhancing machine performance, and ensuring adherence to BAUER's quality, environmental, and health and safety standards. The position requires hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, fault diagnosis, electrical panel repairs, and maintenance planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, diagnose, and rectify electrical faults in machinery and industrial equipment.
• Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Maintain equipment history files and ensure proper documentation of all electrical maintenance activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards within the electrical maintenance unit.
• Identify and recommend opportunities to improve machine efficiency through component replacement, upgrades, or complete equipment replacement.
• Develop and implement periodic electrical maintenance and servicing plans.
• Conduct site visits when necessary to perform emergency electrical repairs and troubleshooting.
• Repair and maintain electrical panel boards and control systems.
• Perform general electrical wiring and installation works when required.
• Identify, order, and manage spare parts and electrical components.
• Maintain accurate records of spare parts consumption, deliveries, and received materials.
• Provide technical guidance and training to new employees on electrical maintenance procedures and safety practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Electrical or an equivalent qualification.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the same industry.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Proven experience in electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
• Good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
