About Esnad Contracting and the Role

Esnad Contracting is seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor to join an infrastructure project in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves leading all Health, Safety, and Environmental activities on site, ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering a proactive safety culture.

Purpose of the Role

The primary purpose of the HSE Supervisor is to oversee and manage all aspects of health, safety, and environmental performance across the project site. This includes ensuring adherence to company policies, client requirements, and Saudi regulations, while actively promoting a strong safety culture among all project personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all HSE activities across the project site.
• Lead and manage the site HSE team and monitor daily safety performance.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures, client requirements, and local regulations.
• Conduct daily site inspections and identify unsafe conditions and acts.
• Prepare and review Risk Assessments (RA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Method Statements.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness campaigns.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor subcontractors to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Ensure proper implementation of Permit to Work (PTW) procedures.
• Prepare HSE reports, inspection reports, statistics, and KPI reports.
• Coordinate with project management to ensure safe execution of all construction activities.
• Support internal and external HSE audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across the project.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE within infrastructure construction projects.
• Proven experience as an HSE Supervisor or Senior HSE Officer.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong experience in infrastructure works such as roads, utilities, earthworks, drainage, and civil works.
• Excellent knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations and international safety standards.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, focusing on an infrastructure project. The role requires on-site presence to effectively manage HSE activities.
