Healthcare Nutrition Specialist

About the Role

Danone MENA is seeking a Healthcare Nutrition Specialist (Medical Representative) for a 6-month temporary contract based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role is within the Specialized Nutrition Middle East division, focusing on driving market share for SN brands in the assigned area. The specialist will build scientific-based relationships with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and ensure their satisfaction and loyalty by addressing their healthcare nutrition needs.

Key Responsibilities

The Healthcare Nutrition Specialist will be responsible for influencing HCP attitudes and behaviors, managing their assigned area, contributing to team efforts, and gathering market intelligence. Specific duties include:

• Conducting periodical visits to HCPs in hospitals, clinics, and private practices to establish scientific relationships.
• Positioning Danone's Healthcare Nutrition solutions as preferred choices and SN as a company of first choice for HCPs.
• Ensuring HCPs receive accurate information, clinical studies, and understand the benefits of solutions.
• Organizing scientific audio/visual meetings for HCPs.
• Identifying business opportunities and developing initiatives within the assigned area.
• Implementing weekly call cycles and responding to competitive activities.
• Maintaining high product knowledge and following up on customer queries.
• Compiling and submitting reports on promotional activities and ensuring compliance with ethical codes.
• Conducting nutrition education activities and managing daily database entries.
• Achieving qualitative and quantitative key performance indicators for the area.
• Participating in team meetings to discuss market situations and appraise activities.
• Gathering intelligence on the HCP universe and monitoring competitor activities.
• Building strong relationships with targeted HCPs and mapping decision-making networks.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals.
