About Bupa Arabia and the Role

Bupa Arabia is seeking a Manager - Healthcare Analytics to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time role is critical for executing and completing deliverables that involve the analysis, validation, and standardization of data-gathering processes. The Manager will be responsible for reporting statistical data and performance metrics from various sources, such as insurance processing, clinical operations, and demographics, to fulfill business and customer needs.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Manager - Healthcare Analytics plays a pivotal role in leveraging data to support optimal healthcare management and informed decision-making. This position encompasses a comprehensive approach to healthcare data, from designing robust data models and ensuring data quality to generating insightful reports and contributing to digital transformation initiatives.

Healthcare Data Analysis

• Design data models that integrate patient data from multiple sources to create complete views of health data.
• Analyze members' health risk segmentation and chronic cases profiling, including chronic disease, cancer, hepatic disease, and renal failure.
• Investigate data to identify patterns and trends.

Performance Analysis and Reporting

• Pull and integrate data from multiple sources.
• Analyze data to assist in delivering optimal healthcare management and decision-making.
• Publish monthly reports for mega accounts, including different dimensions.
• Develop reports and presentations.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily and monthly reports of all performance metrics.
• Communicate analytical insights with management.

Data Quality and Transformation Initiatives

• Apply advanced categorization of services with standardized and concise mapping.
• Ensure proper validation of doctor names in the data, specialties, and modification and validation of the unified service coding process.
• Collaborate with different business units and functions to execute assigned objectives related to big data projects and digital enhancements, transformations, and implementations.
• Interpret and validate data to be incorporated into advanced analytics and ML models.
• Automate manual reports through Power BI.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Manager - Healthcare Analytics position should have 2-5 years of relevant experience in data analysis, healthcare analytics, or a related field. The role requires a professional with a strong understanding of data management, reporting, and analytical methodologies.

• Proven experience in data analysis, validation, and standardization processes.
• Demonstrated ability to design data models and integrate data from diverse sources.
• Proficiency in developing and publishing performance reports and presentations.
• Experience with data cleansing techniques and ensuring data quality.
• Familiarity with advanced analytics, Machine Learning concepts, and tools like Power BI for report automation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams on digital transformation projects.
