About the Opportunity

Esnad Contracting is seeking a Mechanical Technical Office Engineer to join their team. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, within the Makkah region, and plays a crucial role in supporting various construction projects.

Core Responsibilities

• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and contract documents thoroughly.
• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs (BOQ) for mechanical works, including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Develop cost estimates and pricing for tenders and project variations.
• Evaluate and review supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Formulate technical and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate effectively with design, procurement, and project execution teams.
• Prepare material submittals, technical submittals, and maintain shop drawing logs.
• Monitor project progress and provide essential technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure strict compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Technical Office role, specifically within construction companies.
• Proven experience in infrastructure or building projects.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with quantity surveying, estimation, and tendering processes.
• Ability to review technical documents and coordinate effectively with multiple disciplines.
