Vrinda Global is seeking an experienced Project Engineer specializing in Overhead Transmission Lines (OHTL) to join our team. This full-time position is based in the Makkah region, specifically covering projects in Jeddah and Makkah.

Role Overview

The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing and coordinating engineering and construction activities for 380 kV Overhead Transmission Line EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. This role involves extensive coordination with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure project delivery aligns with established standards, specifications, and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate engineering and construction activities for 380kV OHTL projects.
• Review EPC contract documents, technical specifications, drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and SEC standards.
• Coordinate transmission line foundation, tower erection, stringing, and associated civil works.
• Review design calculations, tower spotting profiles, sag-tension calculations, and construction drawings.
• Manage Requests for Information (RFIs), Technical Queries (TQs), design changes, and engineering revisions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and monitor project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), productivity, and resource utilization.
• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, energization, punch-list closure, and final handover processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing and coordinating OHTL projects.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with SEC standards, project specifications, quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines, budget, and schedule requirements.
• Strong coordination skills with engineering teams, construction teams, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position primarily based in the Makkah region, with project responsibilities spanning across Jeddah and Makkah. The role requires active involvement in project sites and coordination with various teams to ensure successful project execution.
