About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Perform specific and moderate portions of broader engineering assignments.
Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established procedures.
Execute detailed or routine engineering assignments, including calculations and tests.
Propose solutions to new problems by modifying standard procedures or leveraging methods from previous assignments.
Identify discrepancies in results and implement corrective actions.
Provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level engineers on technical concepts and best practices.
Perform work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule, requiring minimal supervision.
Independently complete all tasks for primary design elements of engineering works.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design calculations, specifications, and engineering reports.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements for mechanical utilities systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and project management, to optimize system performance and reliability.
Conduct quality assurance reviews and oversee testing protocols to verify design integrity and system functionality.
Participate in project planning and scheduling activities to ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables.
Recommend process improvements and efficiency enhancements for mechanical utility systems based on performance analysis.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant engineering experience.
Demonstrated ability to perform detailed engineering assignments and calculations.
Proficiency in developing technical documentation and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Experience in mechanical utilities systems is required.
