About the Tamheer - Patient Support Role

Bupa Arabia is seeking a Tamheer - Patient Support intern to join their team in Jeddah. This internship offers an opportunity for individuals with 0-1 years of experience to develop skills in patient support and customer service within the healthcare sector. The role focuses on providing world-class service and ensuring customer satisfaction by handling cases received from various outbound-related channels.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The primary purpose of this role is to serve as a competent, courteous, efficient, and proactive point of contact for both internal and external customers. The individual will be responsible for managing all assigned cases, contributing to Health Care Center performance, and upholding company and department standards for service quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities: Inbound Support and Information Management

• Provide a high level of customer service and professional communication during all interactions.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all Bupa Connect Care products and services, including networks, treatments, and paperwork requirements, to provide accurate information confidently.
• Resolve and accurately input provider and client requests into the CRM system according to established guidelines.
• Ensure proper and accurate records, files, and databases are set up and consistently maintained.
• Utilize and interpret multiple systems for preauthorization, claims research, contract interpretation, and provider network status.
• Understand and interpret client and provider contracts while assisting callers.

Service Excellence and Case Resolution

• Ensure excellent member recovery from the initial interaction.
• Handle all inbound complaints comprehensively, adhering to department policies and procedures.
• Initiate proper escalation processes to relevant stakeholders when necessary.
• Ensure effective recovery for complaints and strive for a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Identify and highlight any recurring problems, directing information accordingly to facilitate prompt corrective actions.
• Build strong relationships with all relevant stakeholders to ensure proper resolution of issues.
