About Hmolat and the Role

Hmolat is seeking a dedicated Trucks Sourcing Executive to join our operations team. This full-time position is based in Makkah, with responsibilities extending to operations across Jeddah and Makkah. The role is integral to ensuring the efficient sourcing and management of trucks to fulfill daily transport requirements.

Role Objective

The primary objective of this role is to secure the necessary trucks for daily transport requests and guarantee their timely arrival. The Executive will be responsible for coordinating with carriers and drivers, monitoring transport routes, and promptly documenting and addressing any operational incidents that may arise.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and provide required trucks in coordination with approved carriers, adhering strictly to operational schedules.
• Communicate effectively with transport companies and drivers to ensure truck readiness and facilitate efficient loading processes.
• Schedule truck movements and provide continuous updates to the operations team regarding their status.
• Immediately report and document any incidents, delays, loss, or theft, and promptly arrange for alternative solutions.
• Ensure that carriers comply with all contractual terms, including specified truck type, vehicle condition, and driver conduct.
• Conduct periodic visits to carriers to verify their adherence to established quality and safety standards.
• Support the performance evaluation of carriers and drivers, coordinating closely with operational teams and warehouse personnel.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2-5 years of proven experience in the transport or logistics sector.

Essential Skills

Candidates must possess strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with internal teams, external carriers, and drivers. The ability to manage logistics and respond promptly to operational challenges is crucial for success in this role.
