Dar Al Riyadh is seeking an experienced Agriculture Inspector to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time role involves ensuring the quality and compliance of agricultural systems, irrigation networks, and landscape works against established engineering standards and specifications.

Role Overview

The Agriculture Inspector is responsible for the thorough inspection, evaluation, and verification of agricultural and landscaping projects. This includes assessing irrigation, drainage, and soil systems to ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards. The role requires a strong understanding of agricultural engineering principles and a commitment to quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections of agricultural and landscaping works, including irrigation, drainage, and soil systems.
• Verify construction and maintenance activities against approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Review engineering plans for agricultural systems and provide technical feedback.
• Monitor material and workmanship quality on site and ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Identify non-conformities, recommend corrective actions, and prepare detailed inspection reports.
• Coordinate inspections and technical issue resolution with contractors, engineers, and maintenance teams.
• Support sustainable agricultural practices and water-efficient irrigation systems.
• Maintain inspection records, photographs, and follow-up actions.
• Stay informed about agricultural technologies, local regulations, and engineering best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of engineering experience in agricultural operations, irrigation, or maintenance projects.
• Strong understanding of irrigation systems, soil management, drainage networks, and landscape engineering.
• Proven inspection, reporting, and quality-control experience in an engineering or agricultural environment.
• Excellent English communication and report-writing skills; Arabic is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with engineering drawings and inspection tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
