About the Role

Nestlé Saudi Arabia is seeking an Associate Manager, Demand & Supply Planning, to join their team in Jeddah. This temporary position is responsible for leading bottom-up consensus demand plans for specified categories within the Cluster. The role focuses on ensuring product availability, optimal inventory levels, and consistent achievement of service levels to support efficient growth and increased market share.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Monthly Business Planning Cycle (MBPC) for assigned categories to develop an 18-month consensus bottom-up demand plan, aligning with Cluster, Category, and Channel dynamics through pre-alignment and sign-off meetings.
Utilize Sellout/IMS data for building bottom-up consensus demand plans by category, district, and SKU, ensuring trade coverage adheres to stock cover policies and analyzing sales out bias to support forecasting.
Conduct advanced price elasticity simulations in collaboration with commercial teams to model multi-scenario volume implications and identify risks or opportunities, especially in anticipation of currency devaluation.
Collaborate with District sales senior managers to analyze second-tier wholesalers, aiming to improve forecast accuracy and demand projection precision, particularly before price increases.
Manage ICP and develop baseline demand forecasts for new product launches and promotions, ensuring realistic assumptions based on market size, competitor pricing, APOS ambition, drop size, and competitor performance.
Oversee PIPO (Phase-In/Phase-Out) end-to-end plans monthly to prevent out-of-stock or overstock situations, based on MBPC outcomes, supply alerts, and previous month's performance.
Coordinate with sales support on monthly landing assessments and their impact on replenishment and full-year sales, implementing proactive measures to optimize performance and trade stock cover.
Ensure timely supply with desired freshness and optimal inventory by coordinating with various functions (clearance team, category supply planners, DSP category managers, logistics) to provide commercial teams with visibility on availability.
Contribute to bad goods reduction through MSR meetings, ensuring action plans are reflected in MBPC, provisions are taken by the finance team, and escalating unavoidable risks.
Continuously monitor KPIs such as OG%, tonnage growth, DPA M-1, M-3, bias, COF, Stock cover, and Bad goods to improve service level and accuracy while reducing end-to-end costs.
Maintain and communicate the DPA learning log to Cluster, Category, and Analytical hub, providing information on deviation versus actuality by reason code.
Coordinate with the local A&P team to ensure on-time execution and availability of promotional stocks in line with SOPs.
Support order fulfillment management, reason code assignment for OOS, and action plan development to improve customer satisfaction and mitigate issues.
Govern the end-to-end process of monthly pallet projections, collaborating with warehouse and logistics stakeholders to ensure warehouse space availability for anticipated demand fluctuations, build-ups, and supply chain contingencies.
