About the Role

Mujahid Page is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role is essential for managing product costing, cost analysis, inventory valuation, and financial reporting within a building materials company. The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze product, production, and material costs.
Monitor raw materials, inventory, labor, and manufacturing overheads.
Calculate product costs, margins, and profitability.
Analyze cost variances and recommend cost-control measures.
Monitor inventory valuation, stock movements, wastage, and material consumption.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting.
Coordinate with production, procurement, warehouse, and finance teams.
Assist with month-end closing, reconciliations, and audit requirements.
Develop cost reports and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Relevant experience as a Cost Accountant, preferably in building materials or manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of costing methods, inventory accounting, and cost control.
Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
Strong analytical, numerical, and reporting skills.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, with responsibilities covering operations in both Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves collaboration with various internal teams including production, procurement, warehouse, and finance.
