About the Role

Astek is seeking a Data Integration & BI Architect to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves working with one of our clients to lead the design and implementation of a unified digital sales data and dashboard ecosystem. The role focuses on integrating key business platforms into a scalable data model and delivering high-performance Power BI dashboards to drive informed business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

The Data Integration & BI Architect will be responsible for establishing a robust data architecture and developing comprehensive business intelligence solutions. This includes managing data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, and creating analytical tools that provide actionable insights across various business functions.

Data Architecture and Integration

• Design and implement the data architecture connecting eCommerce, CRM, analytics, CX, and pricing systems.
• Build and manage data pipelines using APIs and ETL/ELT processes.
• Define real-time versus batch data flows aligned with business needs.
• Ensure secure handling of customer-level data and compliance requirements.
• Build scalable data models at customer-level, funnel-level, and policy-level.
• Establish a Single Source of Truth (SSOT) across all reporting.
• Standardize data structures and naming conventions across systems.
• Define and implement validation rules, monitoring, and governance frameworks.
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and reliability across integrated sources.
• Troubleshoot data issues and coordinate resolution with IT teams.
• Maintain documentation for data architecture, pipelines, and data flows.

BI Dashboard Development and Optimization

• Develop Power BI dashboards from scratch, including datasets, measures, and logic.
• Ensure dashboards are scalable, automated, and high-performing.
• Enable drill-down capabilities across key segments such as channel, customer type, and funnel stage.
• Optimize dashboard speed and data refresh performance.
• Drive ongoing enhancements and scalability of the data environment.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 2-5 years of professional experience in data integration and business intelligence architecture.

This is a full-time role based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, working within a client-focused environment to deliver critical data and BI solutions.
