About the Director, Home Healthcare Role

Bupa Arabia is seeking a Director - Home Healthcare to provide strategic leadership for the establishment, growth, and operational excellence of its Home Healthcare services. Based in Jeddah, this full-time role is critical for ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centered care, regulatory compliance, financial sustainability, and continuous service improvement. The position requires over 10 years of relevant experience.

Strategic Development and Service Establishment

This role involves leading the strategic direction and foundational setup of Home Healthcare services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the establishment and operational launch of Home Healthcare services, ensuring the operating model, governance framework, care pathways, and service design support safe, scalable, and patient-centered care delivery.
  • Securing all regulatory approvals, licensing, governance, and operational readiness, ensuring full compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies before service launch.
  • Developing and implementing operational policies, clinical pathways, and service standards that standardize care delivery, support quality outcomes, and ensure consistent operational performance.
  • Developing and launching the Home Healthcare strategic roadmap, aligning operational priorities with organizational goals, market opportunities, regulatory requirements, and future growth plans.
  • Identifying growth opportunities and leading service expansion initiatives, supporting innovation, new care models, and the development of scalable Home Healthcare services.

Operational Management and Digital Integration

The Director will oversee the daily operations and drive technological advancements within Home Healthcare. Responsibilities include:

  • Directing day-to-day Home Healthcare operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered service delivery while maintaining continuity of care across all clinical services.
  • Monitoring operational, financial, quality, and patient experience KPIs, taking timely actions to improve productivity, clinical outcomes, service quality, and operational performance.
  • Optimizing workforce deployment and resource utilization, ensuring appropriate staffing, scheduling, and operational capacity to meet patient demand cost-effectively.
  • Ensuring compliance with clinical, safety, and regulatory standards, maintaining high-quality care, effective risk management, and adherence to organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Leading the adoption and optimization of Home Healthcare technology platforms, ensuring digital solutions effectively support clinical operations, patient care, and business performance.
  • Ensuring effective system integration and data governance, maintaining secure, reliable, and compliant information management across healthcare and operational systems.
  • Utilizing digital reporting and performance dashboards to support informed decision-making, operational oversight, and continuous performance improvement.
  • Driving digital innovation and process automation, improving operational efficiency, patient experience, and scalability through technology-enabled solutions.
  • Ensuring workforce, technology, equipment, and infrastructure readiness by coordinating resource planning, digital capabilities, medical equipment, and operational preparedness for successful service activation.

Team Leadership and External Partnerships

A key aspect of this role is building high-performing teams and managing strategic external relationships. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the attraction, development, and retention of qualified clinical and operational talent for future growth.
  • Building and leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams, promoting collaboration, accountability, and a culture focused on patient-centered care and operational excellence.
  • Establishing clear objectives, coaching leaders, and developing future capabilities through continuous learning initiatives.
  • Fostering an engaged and inclusive workplace culture, strengthening employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, retention, and organizational performance.
  • Developing and managing strategic relationships with external partners and service providers, ensuring collaboration supports service quality, business continuity, and organizational objectives.
  • Overseeing vendor governance, contracts, and SLA performance, ensuring partners consistently deliver agreed service levels, quality standards, and commercial value.
  • Ensuring regulatory, contractual, and organizational compliance, proactively managing vendor risks while maintaining patient safety and operational resilience.
  • Driving continuous improvement with strategic partners, identifying opportunities to enhance service quality, innovation, operational efficiency, and patient outcomes.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant leadership role within the healthcare sector, preferably with exposure to home healthcare services or similar operational environments.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
