About the Role

Supply Tech Nexus is seeking a Distributor Inventory Management Associate Manager to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time role is central to managing Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and Customer Managed Inventory (CMI) replenishment functions. The Associate Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for VMI/CMI customers, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to agreed service levels throughout the end-to-end customer replenishment process.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate optimized replenishment orders using internal or customer VMI/CMI systems.
• Balance inventory and service objectives by utilizing sales history, forecasts, and stock availability data from both company and customer distribution centers.
• Manage the VMI technical solution, including data maintenance and system alignment between company and customer platforms.
• Conduct proactive data analytics on customer behavior trends and potential out-of-stock risks.
• Apply advanced planning, forecasting, and replenishment techniques to support sales and manage inventory levels at customer distribution centers.
• Integrate inputs from Demand & Supply Planning, Sales, Customer, and Service Strategy teams into replenishment decisions.

Customer Collaboration and Distribution Optimization

• Act as the primary advocate for VMI/CMI customers, professionally resolving stock replenishment issues.
• Ensure the availability of accurate and timely information for customer stock management activities.
• Execute strategies derived from the Operational Demand & Supply Review (OpsDSR) to ensure stock allocation aligns with business and customer priorities.
• Collaborate with Physical Logistics, Demand and Supply Planning, Transportation, and Supply Chain Analytics teams to optimize distribution costs across the replenishment network.
• Maintain network inputs, including lead times, delivery expectations, and parameters for new product introductions.

Qualifications and Experience

• University degree is required.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of operational experience in order fulfillment, VMI/CMI, or supply chain roles within a similar market environment.
• Experience working with or for a customer in a collaborative VMI/CMI environment is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes, customer service best practices, and logistics processes, including materials handling and transport optimization.
• Understanding of demand, supply chain, and finance processes related to pricing.
• Experience in supply chain improvement projects is beneficial.

Role Context

This role offers direct exposure to advanced customer collaboration models within the industry, focusing on Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and Customer Managed Inventory (CMI). Expertise in VMI is a valuable skill set across the GCC region. The position is based in Jeddah, Makkah.

Compensation

Supply Tech Nexus offers a competitive compensation package for this role, with a salary range of SAR 12,000 - 20,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
