About the Role

Eventsgate is seeking an Engineering Designer to join our team in Makkah, with work primarily conducted in Jeddah and Makkah. This part-time position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience in engineering and architectural design, specifically for events. The role focuses on creating detailed plans and ensuring designs meet both aesthetic and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare engineering and decorative plans and drawings using AutoCAD and 3D Max.
Design and optimize field space distribution for events and projects to ensure efficient movement and flow.
Ensure all designs comply with the Saudi Building Code requirements and relevant safety standards.
Select appropriate materials and raw materials for field implementation, balancing cost-effectiveness with quality.
Coordinate directly with contractors and on-site implementation teams to ensure accurate execution of plans.
Modify and update designs based on field observations and evolving site requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

0-1 years of experience in engineering and architectural design, preferably within the events sector.
Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD and 3D Max.
Understanding of Saudi Building Code requirements and general safety standards.

Work Type and Location

This is a part-time position based in the Makkah region, with primary work locations in Jeddah and Makkah. The role requires coordination with on-site teams and contractors.
