The Role

My Clinic is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to ensuring effective financial controls, managing internal and external audits, and engaging with bankers and auditors. The role requires 5-10 years of experience in financial reporting and audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with and implement existing and new finance policies and procedures.
• Communicate and follow up with finance-linked departments (HR, Supply Chain, Operations) to ensure appropriate evidence for internal audits.
• Identify control gaps and weaknesses, develop mitigation strategies, and oversee their implementation.
• Conduct regular multi-site visits to ensure policy and procedure compliance.
• Liaise with the internal audit team to provide required information.
• File monthly VAT and WHT returns in compliance with relevant laws.
• Review and check record maintenance and archiving of AP/AR vouchers and filings.
• Perform regular checks on key finance areas such as Capex, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
• Maintain schedules and details of financial statement areas for Management Pack and external audit readiness.
• Develop monthly reporting packages for all financial statement areas and a monthly Balance Sheet pack for management and shareholder review.
• Support liaison with external parties, including bankers and legal advisors.
• Assist in compliance with legal requirements (Zakat, VAT, TP, Company Law) and company secretarial practices.
• Ensure proper books of accounts are available for auditing purposes.
• Liaise with external auditors and management for the preparation of statutory accounts and audit completion.
• Support the organization of quarterly inventory stock counts.
• Manage bookkeeping and audit for the foreign entity (BMEH2).

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 10 years of relevant experience in financial reporting and audit functions.
• Demonstrated experience in ensuring financial controls and audit readiness.
• Proficiency in managing relationships with bankers and auditors.
• Strong understanding of VAT and WHT laws and compliance.
• Experience with financial statement preparation and reporting packages.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a dynamic healthcare environment and requires occasional multi-site visits to ensure compliance across various locations.
