Injection Molding Operator

Job Summary

Neproplast is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Operator to join its production team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires hands-on experience operating plastic injection molding machines and a strong understanding of mold operations to ensure efficient production with minimal downtime. Candidates with 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing plastic pipe fittings, molded plastic components, or similar industrial plastic products will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plastic injection molding machines to achieve daily production targets.
• Perform machine start-up, operation, and shutdown according to established procedures.
• Monitor and adjust operating parameters such as temperature, injection pressure, speed, cycle time, and cooling settings within authorized limits.
• Assist with mold installation, changeovers, setup, and production start-up activities.
• Monitor material feeding, preparation, and handling according to production requirements.
• Conduct routine visual and dimensional inspections of molded products.
• Identify common injection molding defects, including flash, short shots, sink marks, warpage, and burn marks.
• Identify basic operational problems, perform permitted adjustments, and coordinate with Maintenance or Tool & Die teams when necessary.
• Minimize material waste, rejected products, and unnecessary machine stoppages.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, scrap, machine downtime, and operational issues.
• Follow established quality, safety, housekeeping, and production procedures.
• Coordinate effectively with production supervisors, technicians, and quality personnel.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Certificate, Vocational Certificate, or Technical Diploma.
• 2-5 years of experience operating plastic injection molding machines.
• Ability to work rotating shifts in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Good awareness of workplace safety and product quality requirements.
• Candidates currently residing in Saudi Arabia and available to join within a short notice period are preferred.
