Lifecycle Operations and Maintenance Manager (m/f/d)

About the Role

BeWunder is seeking a Lifecycle Operations and Maintenance Manager to join their team in Saudi Arabia, with locations in Jeddah and Riyadh. This full-time role involves developing and managing Lifecycle Operations activities across the Middle East, focusing on the ongoing service and maintenance requirements for permanently installed AVL and media technology projects in venues such as museums and theatres. The manager will act as a key interface between clients and internal teams, ensuring reliable and responsive support throughout the lifecycle of installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive operations and maintenance concepts for installed AVL, media, and technology systems.
• Manage the lifecycle of service and maintenance assignments, including preventive, operational, and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Coordinate service activities and ensure contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs), response times, and client commitments are met.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, fostering long-term relationships and ensuring clear communication during service activities.
• Assess technical issues, coordinate resources and specialists, and drive solutions to successful resolution.
• Coordinate internal teams, external specialists, suppliers, and subcontractors for maintenance and service assignments.
• Support the preparation and calculation of service and maintenance requirements, cost estimates, and concepts in collaboration with the Commercial team.
• Coordinate the commercial administration of completed service assignments, including information for invoicing and follow-up.
• Maintain an overview of ongoing service activities, client requirements, open issues, maintenance schedules, and project documentation.
• Ensure accurate documentation of services rendered and maintain relevant information in Salesforce, Jira, and other internal systems.
• Develop reporting structures to communicate technical issues, service activities, and outstanding actions to stakeholders.
• Support supplier sourcing and negotiations with Procurement to ensure suitable technical solutions, availability, and commercial value.
• Contribute to building and developing the Lifecycle Operations & Maintenance function in the Middle East, introducing new processes and improving workflows.
• Work independently as the regional point of contact while collaborating with the wider Lifecycle Operations team based in Germany.
• Provide first-level technical support and coordination, escalating issues to relevant specialists as needed.
• Travel regularly to project sites across the Middle East, including Jeddah, Riyadh, and Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Strong AVL technical background combined with project, operational, and account management skills.
• Ability to develop and implement comprehensive operations and maintenance concepts.
• Experience in managing service assignments and ensuring compliance with SLAs.
• Proficiency in maintaining project and service documentation.
• Experience with Salesforce, Jira, and other internal systems is beneficial.
