The Microsoft Security Architect Role

Accenture Security provides comprehensive services ranging from security strategy development to managed security services. This full-time role, based in Jeddah, involves pioneering security solutions that integrate risk strategy, digital identity, cyber defense, application security, and managed services. The Microsoft Security Architect will utilize next-generation technologies to address cybercrime and enhance client security postures.

Core Architectural Responsibilities

• Enterprise & Solution Security Architecture: Define end-to-end security architectures across cloud, IAM, system, and network security domains. Develop target-state, reference, and solution architectures aligned with business objectives and risk posture, ensuring they are scalable, resilient, and adhere to Zero Trust and defense-in-depth principles. Produce and maintain high-quality architecture artifacts.
• Identity, Access & Privileged Access Architecture: Architect enterprise-grade IAM, IGA, and PAM solutions (*, SailPoint, BeyondTrust, CyberArk, Entra ID). Design secure authentication and authorization models, including SSO, MFA, federation, RBAC/ABAC, and identity lifecycle management. Define privileged access strategies, secrets management approaches, and least-privilege enforcement models. Provide architectural oversight for secure integration of IAM platforms with cloud, SaaS, and on-prem environments.
• Cloud, System & Network Security Architecture: Design security architectures for cloud and hybrid platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP). Define security controls for operating systems, platforms, and middleware (hardening, segmentation, access controls). Architect network security solutions, including segmentation, secure connectivity, and Zero Trust network access (ZTNA). Align architectural decisions with industry frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CSA CCM, and SABSA.

Governance, Risk, and Leadership

• Governance, Risk & Advisory: Participate in architecture review boards, design authorities, and security governance forums. Support threat modeling, architecture risk assessments, and design trade-off decisions. Ensure alignment with regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements. Drive secure-by-design adoption across programs and delivery teams.
• Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Act as a Security Architecture Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing guidance to engineers and solution teams. Engage with client stakeholders, including senior IT, security, and risk leaders. Mentor junior architects and security engineers. Contribute to solutioning, proposals, and client workshops where required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in a Security Architect or equivalent architecture role.
• Strong hands-on background across Cloud Security, Identity & Access Management, System / Platform Security, and Network Security.
• Experience designing security architectures for enterprise and large-scale environments.

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a global team of security professionals, collaborating with clients and internal teams to build resilience and drive innovation.
