About the Role

Bupa Arabia is seeking a Registrar in Pediatrics to deliver high-quality healthcare services to pediatric patients. This full-time position is based in Makkah, with responsibilities extending to Jeddah, and involves integrating clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of pediatric conditions. The Registrar will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans, ensure clinical quality and safety, and enhance patient satisfaction while committing to ongoing professional development.

Assessment and Diagnosis

• Conduct thorough assessments and accurate diagnoses of pediatric patients through telehealth consultations.
• Collect comprehensive patient histories, including developmental milestones, medical history, vaccination history, and family history.
• Perform virtual physical examinations utilizing telehealth technology to assess symptoms and conditions.
• Analyze and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab results and imaging studies relevant to pediatric care.
• Conduct appointment consultations and instant consultations.

Treatment Planning and Implementation

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with patients and their families to establish treatment goals and preferences.
• Prescribe appropriate medications, therapies, and lifestyle modifications in accordance with pediatric guidelines.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment through follow-up telehealth consultations and adjust plans as necessary.

Clinical Quality and Safe Practice

• Uphold clinical quality standards and ensure safe practices.
• Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality clinical care.
• Adhere to clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits.
• Report and analyze incidents or adverse events.
• Implement clinical protocols and evidence-based guidelines to enhance patient safety.
• Address any incidents or safety concerns immediately and effectively.

Collaboration and Professional Development

• Foster collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
• Lead and participate in regular case discussions with healthcare team members.
• Share patient insights and progress updates with other providers.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare services as needed.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Participate in continuing medical education (CME) and training programs.
• Maintain awareness of changes in clinical guidelines and best practices.
