Senior Accountant

About the Role

Sealy Mattress Middle East is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires an analytical and detail-oriented professional to manage general ledger workflows, product costing, and asset registries. The Senior Accountant will ensure financial compliance and support fiscal efficiency across the company's retail and manufacturing divisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes and prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements.
• Oversee fixed assets, inventory valuations, and audit workflows.
• Handle ZATCA-compliant VAT, Zakat, and corporate tax filings, along with e-invoicing data integrity.
• Monitor cash flows, oversee payables/receivables, and review payroll via the Saudi Madad portal.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams on cost variances and maintain internal control frameworks.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Nationality & Residency: Saudi National currently residing in or ready to commute to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a preference for experience within manufacturing, retail, or FMCG sectors.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tier-1 ERP systems (Odoo preferred), advanced Excel, and relevant Saudi portals (ZATCA, Madad).
• Languages & Certifications: Native Arabic and professional English are required. SOCPA, CMA, or ACCA credentials are a plus.

Work Environment

This role is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and operates within a full-time capacity. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the finance team and collaborate with various operational divisions, including retail and manufacturing.
