About the Role

SSCL is seeking a Senior Elevators & Escalators Engineer to join their team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role involves providing technical authority and engineering assurance for various vertical transportation assets. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Senior Elevators & Escalators Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the technical integrity and operational reliability of elevators, escalators, moving walkways, and other related vertical transportation systems. This includes offering expert guidance and oversight to maintain high engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical authority for elevators, escalators, moving walkways, and associated vertical transportation assets.
• Ensure engineering assurance for the performance and safety of all assigned vertical transportation systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant engineering field.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in large-scale operations, maintenance, and integrated facilities management.
• Experience in environments such as airports, healthcare, higher education, hospitality, government, and critical infrastructure is highly valued.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, covering operations in both Jeddah and Makkah. The role operates within a professional setting focused on maintaining critical infrastructure.
