About the Role

SAUDIA AIRLINES is seeking a Senior Technician, Plasma to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time position involves performing technical functions related to plasma spraying and blasting processes within the aviation industry.

Core Responsibilities

The Senior Technician, Plasma will be responsible for a range of technical duties essential to maintaining and operating plasma spraying and blasting equipment. This includes executing all basic functions and related activities associated with these processes.

Operating required equipment in compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
Identifying materials used for blasting and plasma applications.
Performing blasting processes according to standard practices.
Setting up all necessary conditions for plasma spray applications.
Programming and operating automated equipment, including plasma robotic systems.
Troubleshooting and testing for defects during work execution.
Performing plasma application using an extension gun.
Conducting plasma spray applications on complex parts.

Technical Troubleshooting and Maintenance

A key aspect of this role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues within the plasma spray systems. This requires a thorough understanding of the equipment and its operational parameters.

Troubleshooting the 7mb plasma spray system.
Troubleshooting the 4mb powder feed unit.
Troubleshooting the robotic system.
Troubleshooting the plasma spray extension gun.

Quality and Compliance

Adherence to established quality standards and regulatory requirements is paramount in this position. The technician must ensure all work performed meets the company's specifications and industry regulations.

Additional Duties

In addition to the primary responsibilities, the Senior Technician, Plasma is expected to be adaptable and willing to undertake other tasks as assigned by their supervisor to support team objectives.
