About Combuzz and the Role

Combuzz is seeking a Site Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to managing and supervising flushing and pre-commissioning projects across various sites within the Kingdom.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in flushing and pre-commissioning activities, bringing hands-on experience from projects within the Middle East, with a preference for prior work in Saudi Arabia. This position requires a professional capable of providing technical input and engineering solutions throughout project lifecycles, ensuring operations are carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise flushing and pre-commissioning activities at project sites.
• Perform hydraulic, flow, pressure, and flushing velocity calculations.
• Design and review temporary piping arrangements for flushing operations.
• Support pump sizing and selection based on specific project requirements.
• Plan and execute hydrotesting and pipeline cleaning activities.
• Review P&IDs, engineering drawings, and project specifications to ensure compliance.
• Provide technical input and engineering solutions for flushing projects.
• Coordinate effectively with site teams, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues efficiently.
• Ensure all flushing and pre-commissioning activities adhere to safety standards and project requirements.
• Travel and work at project sites across Saudi Arabia as required.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 3-5 years of experience as a Site Engineer, with a strong focus on flushing and pre-commissioning projects.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in flushing projects, preferably within Saudi Arabia or the broader Middle East region.
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Possession of a valid Saudi driving license is mandatory.

Work Environment and Travel

This full-time position is based in Jeddah, KSA, and requires significant travel to project sites throughout Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will operate in a dynamic project environment, collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to ensure project success and adherence to project timelines and specifications.
