Marriott International is seeking a dedicated Systems Operator / IT Coordinator to join our team in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is open exclusively to Saudi nationals and is an excellent opportunity for individuals with 0-1 years of experience looking to start their career in IT support and systems management within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Role Summary

The Systems Operator / IT Coordinator is primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of computer hardware and peripheral equipment. This involves actively troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, responding to program error messages, and providing essential technical support to maintain efficient business operations across the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair technical problems or issues related to computer hardware and peripheral equipment.
• Respond to program error messages by identifying and correcting problems or terminating programs as necessary.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to resolve business problems effectively.
• Refer major hardware/software problems or defective products to appropriate vendors or technicians for service.
• Enter commands and activate controls on computer and peripheral equipment (*, printers) to integrate and operate equipment.
• Maintain and upgrade hardware and software, including peripherals (*, printers, scanners) and website technical architecture related to hardware and telecommunication connectivity.
• Report work-related accidents or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to management.
• Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions, and/or report them to management and security/safety personnel.
• Follow property-specific procedures for handling emergency situations, including evacuations, medical emergencies, and natural disasters.
• Communicate effectively with other employees through verbal and electronic devices (*, pagers, two-way radios, email).
• Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats, including small print.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• No prior related work experience is required.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No specific license or certification is required.

Physical Demands

• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
