About the Role

SADAFCO is seeking a Trade Marketing Manager (Frozen) to join its team in Jeddah. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on driving the growth and visibility of the frozen business through strategic trade marketing initiatives.

Role Objectives

The primary objective of this role is to develop and execute effective trade marketing strategies, in-store activations, and category execution plans. The Trade Marketing Manager will ensure optimal channel performance, maximize the return on investment for trade marketing activities, and strengthen partnerships with both customers and internal teams. The role leverages digital tools and analytics to maintain a consistent brand presence and achieve sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and align annual plans to ensure the growth trajectory of sales channels.
  • Prepare and align business cases, including capital expenditure requirements, operational resources, revenue opportunities, and ROI, to ensure financial viability of projects and proposals.
  • Coordinate and execute in-store and on-ground activation and visibility plans for the frozen business.
  • Create and deploy relevant visibility materials for customers, managing the process from design to deployment.
  • Execute in-store promotional campaigns, including the management of point-of-sale materials and displays.
  • Plan and execute experiential marketing or in-store activation programs to enhance brand engagement.
  • Develop and implement trade marketing strategies tailored to specific channel and customer requirements.
  • Prepare planograms for different sales channels and freezer/cabinet types.
  • Design and maintain a promotional calendar for all channels, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and business objectives.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of campaigns across all channels.

Collaboration and Relations

  • Work closely with SADAFCO’s Government Relations department to secure necessary permissions for plan execution.
  • Develop strong partnerships with customers who can manage necessary permissions on their behalf.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to align trade marketing initiatives with business priorities.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Brand, and Digital teams to ensure integrated campaigns and consistent messaging.
  • Provide training and guidance to the field sales team on trade marketing activities and execution standards.

Analysis and Budget Management

  • Manage trade marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
  • Analyze market data, sales trends, and promotion results to measure effectiveness and optimize future plans.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in trade marketing, with a focus on the frozen food sector. A strong understanding of P&L management, channel strategy, and in-store execution is required. Experience in building cross-functional relationships and analyzing market data is essential for success in this role.
