About the Trade Marketing Senior Manager Role

Basamh Group is seeking a Trade Marketing Senior Manager to lead marketing initiatives within the organization. This role is based in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time position. The Trade Marketing Department's objective is to enhance brand visibility and drive sales through effective marketing strategies and partnerships, contributing to Basamh Group's mission of growing people and companies through a consumer-centric ecosystem built on over 75 years of experience.

Role Responsibilities

The Trade Marketing Senior Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive trade marketing plans that align with the overall business strategy to maximize sales and market share. Key duties include:

  • Collaborating with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Brand teams to ensure effective implementation of trade marketing initiatives.
  • Analyzing market trends, shopper insights, and the competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
  • Driving the annual business development planning process, establishing clear targets for sales, distribution, and promotional activities.
  • Developing channel-specific trade marketing strategies to optimize performance across retail, wholesale, and B2B segments.
  • Managing trade marketing budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation to achieve business objectives.
  • Tracking and evaluating the effectiveness of promotional campaigns, recommending data-driven improvements.
  • Supporting new product launches through the execution of trade activations and in-store visibility efforts.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts and channel partners to foster long-term business growth.
  • Leading and developing the trade marketing team, providing coaching, training, and career development support.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is considered a plus.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Familiarity with retail and distribution channels.
  • A solid understanding of market trends and consumer behavior.
