About Al Mataem International and the Role

Al Mataem International, a growing multi-brand restaurant group operating under Zad Holding, is seeking a Training Manager to join its team. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and is crucial for maintaining high operational standards across the company's expanding restaurant portfolio.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Training Manager will be responsible for establishing and leading the training framework that supports new hires and ensures the successful launch of new branches. This role directly contributes to the guest experience by developing confident, standard-ready teams and is integral to the group's ongoing expansion across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive onboarding and role-based training programs for both front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)-based training materials and certification processes.
• Manage and execute all training activities for new branch openings, ensuring full staffing and operational readiness.
• Analyze insights from mystery shopper reports and customer complaints to create targeted, practical training interventions.
• Track and report on training completion rates, certification status, and the overall impact of training initiatives to the Head of Restaurants.

Candidate Requirements

• A proven record of 5-10 years in developing training programs and supporting new branch openings, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality sector.
• Demonstrated strong facilitation and coaching skills.
• Ability to be based in, or relocate to, Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

Work Location and Travel

The primary work location for this role is Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The position requires regular travel to Riyadh to support training initiatives and new restaurant openings.
