Q.C Technician

About the Role

Jazeera Paints is seeking a Technician to join their team in Rabigh. This full-time position involves performing various tests and ensuring quality control within both laboratory and production processes. The role is critical for maintaining product standards and operational efficiency.

Role Overview

The Technician will be responsible for conducting comprehensive quality control checks on raw materials, finished goods, and packing materials. This includes adherence to specific standards such as SASO, managing sample arrangements, and performing internal calibrations of laboratory equipment. The position requires a commitment to documenting activities and ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all required tests on finished goods, raw materials, and packing materials.
• Conduct testing of SASO products and organize samples according to specified monthly reports.
• Test the stability of returned finished goods and analyze samples for all company departments.
• Execute internal calibration for specified machines, tools, and equipment used in the QC laboratory.
• Close daily test reports for final products and authorize batch tickets, reporting results immediately to production.
• Arrange and organize retain samples, ensuring constant compliance with standards.
• Participate in cost reduction activities related to electricity, water, improvised materials, leftover samples, and packing.
• Comply with all rules and safety instructions for working within laboratories.
• Maintain general cleanliness of the workplace, as well as the cleanliness and maintenance of devices and equipment used in laboratories.
• Document all laboratory activities and submit regular reports.
• Ensure that any change or modification in batch tickets is signed as per the nature of the case.
• Execute all assigned activities using safe and environmentally sound methods.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor or manager.
