International Maritime Industries is seeking a Specialist NDT Asset Inspection to join their team in Ras Al Khair, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is crucial for the comprehensive evaluation and fitness certification of physical assets, ensuring adherence to industry operating standards and early identification of potential operational and safety issues.

Role Overview

The Specialist NDT Asset Inspection collaborates with authorized inspection contractors to deliver non-destructive testing (NDT) inspection services and certifications for all assets within the yard and workshop. This position facilitates the safe and efficient inspection of designated equipment and systems at the Ras Al Khair site, ensuring compliance with International Maritime Industries' standards, regulations, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop NDT asset inspection KPIs to manage inspection contractors effectively during onsite work.
• Assess the availability and sufficiency of consumables, equipment, and instrumentation for NDT execution and oversight.
• Identify and develop the appropriate NDT equipment list from the asset register with supporting documentation, ensuring alignment with operations and other stakeholders.
• Manage NDT asset inspection task execution procedures, verify contractor work completion, and identify errors in line with contractual requirements and inspection reports.
• Coordinate and witness inspections, review reports and documentation from contractors, and ensure timely completion of NDT work scopes.
• Ensure tests, controls, and inspections adhere to Inspection Test Plans, verify collection of pertinent documentation for mechanical completion approval, and ensure personnel access to essential project documentation.
• Ensure proper execution of NDT procedures to meet standard and corporate compliance requirements.
• Manage Magnetic Testing (MT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Radiographic Testing (RT), and Visual Testing (VT), preparing all stakeholders for execution and verifying relevant documents for NDT performance.
• Collect and manage documents certifying tests, controls, and inspections, ensuring all records are retrievable within the final As-Built dossier.
• Ensure the preparation of the scope completion Dossier for final submission.
• Confirm the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) management process is established and functioning effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in NDT asset inspection.
• Demonstrated competence in managing various NDT methods (MT, UT, PT, RT, VT).
• Ability to assess and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Ras Al Khair, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, with responsibilities extending to Ras Tannurah. The role involves collaboration with inspection contractors and various internal and external stakeholders.
