Maaden is seeking a Superintendent Maintenance Planning to join their team in Ras Tannurah, Eastern region. This is a full-time position for a professional with over 10 years of experience in maintenance planning and execution.

Role Overview

The Superintendent Maintenance Planning will provide direct leadership for maintenance execution, engineers, and resource planning. This role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with safety standards, and achieving production targets through effective maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership for maintenance execution, engineers, and resource planning.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, PTW, and LOTO procedures, and lead incident/near-miss follow-up actions.
• Maintain a strong interface with operations to prioritize critical work and restore operational flow.
• Drive maintenance efforts to achieve production targets, availability, and recovery performance.
• Maintain Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and visual quality management, ensuring compliance with customer specifications.
• Drive the implementation of maintenance strategies, including PM/PdM/RCM, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Develop and control contractors’ scope of work and performance across safety, quality, and schedule.
• Lead shutdown/turnaround planning, readiness, and execution control.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and failure elimination for chronic issues, ensuring corrective actions are closed.
• Manage manpower deployment, overtime control, and emergency call-outs.
• Plan, supervise, and validate contractor work, including scope definition, quality, and safety.
• Control costs within budget and report performance with a clear recovery plan.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in maintenance planning and execution.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in managing maintenance teams and resources.
• Proven ability to implement and track maintenance strategies and KPIs.
• Experience in contractor management, including scope definition, quality, and safety oversight.
• Strong understanding of EHS, PTW, and LOTO protocols.

This full-time position is based in Ras Tannurah, within the Eastern region. The role requires a proactive approach to maintenance management in a dynamic industrial setting.
