About the Role

Al Haider Company for Contracting is seeking a skilled Civil Project Engineer to manage civil engineering activities for high-voltage transmission line and substation projects. This full-time position is based in Ras Tannurah, Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and supervise civil works for High Voltage (HV) transmission lines and substations.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure timely execution of civil activities.
• Review and approve civil engineering drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with project schedules and quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Ensure adherence to Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards and local regulations.
• Prepare progress reports, documentation, and project updates.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering for HV transmission and substation projects.
• Strong understanding of civil construction practices, materials, and quality control.
• Familiarity with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards and procedures.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management tools.

Additional Requirements for Non-Citizen Applicants

• Must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering awarded at least 5 years ago.

Additional Requirements for Applicants from Saudi Arabia

• Valid Saudi driving license.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership.
• Prior SEC approval or submittal is preferred.
