Manager Support Services

About the Role

International Maritime Industries is seeking a Manager Support Services to oversee and manage the efficient operation of helpdesk, office, warehousing, and auxiliary services. This full-time role, based in Ras Tannurah, Eastern region, is critical for ensuring continuous delivery of support functions, enhancing organizational productivity, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The position also involves financial oversight, management, and participation in the yearly budget-setting procedure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage helpdesk, office, warehousing, and auxiliary services to ensure service availability and adherence to established guidelines.
• Oversee and track all contracts, including KPIs and SLAs, related to Support Services deliverables.
• Develop and improve departmental work methods and information systems to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain a project risks register by identifying, analyzing, and defining risk responses.
• Support month-end processes, review outputs, and provide insights into business performance.
• Lead the helpdesk team to ensure timely and effective resolution of IT and operational support requests.
• Monitor ticketing systems and processes to improve response times and user satisfaction.
• Ensure the workplace environment meets safety and functionality standards.
• Manage office supply policies and purchases, and oversee office space management.
• Support business continuity planning and emergency response initiatives for office services.
• Oversee warehousing activities, including inventory management, storage, distribution, and compliance with health, safety, and security protocols.
• Lead the planning and execution of auxiliary services such as event support, travel coordination, and fleet management.
• Develop and implement long-term strategies for enhancing all support operations.
• Create and manage budgets for all support service departments, monitor expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Generate financial reports and conduct financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Enhance, review, and update policies and procedures related to all support operations.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on service activities for senior management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Science, or a related field.
• Certifications: Professional Certification in Facilities Management or Travel Management.
• Experience: At least 15-20 years of related experience in Administration, Finance, management, and reporting.
• Demonstrated experience in strategy development and execution.
• Experience in cost controlling and contract management.
• Proven experience leading and motivating teams.
