About the Role

WTS Energy is seeking a Senior Material Coordinator for CRPO (Construction, Repair, Projects & Offshore) Projects. This full-time position is based in Ras Tannurah, Eastern region, and requires 5-10 years of experience. The role is responsible for the comprehensive planning, control, and coordination of all material management activities to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, consumables, and project assets.

Job Purpose

The Senior Material Coordinator ensures that all necessary materials and equipment are available to support fabrication, offshore, marine, maintenance, and repair operations. This includes maintaining inventory accuracy, traceability, and strict compliance with project requirements and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, issuance, and tracking of project materials and equipment, ensuring availability aligns with project schedules.
  • Monitor material demand forecasts and support procurement planning activities, collaborating with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Warehouse, and Project teams.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct periodic stock verification, and manage surplus, excess, obsolete, and slow-moving materials.
  • Coordinate material deliveries from suppliers and project locations, monitoring shipment schedules and liaising with logistics providers.
  • Track material status, provide regular reports to project management, and identify potential shortages with mitigation plans.
  • Verify received materials against purchase orders and specifications, ensuring traceability and coordinating with Quality Control for inspections and certifications.
  • Ensure safe material handling, storage, and transportation practices, promoting compliance with HSE policies and warehouse safety procedures.

Material Management and Logistics

  • Review Bills of Materials (BOMs), material requisitions, and work packages to identify precise material requirements.
  • Initiate replenishment requests based on inventory levels and ensure proper material preservation, storage, and identification.
  • Expedite overdue deliveries and support offshore and marine mobilization requirements, ensuring timely material movement to various sites.
  • Prioritize critical materials to prevent project delays and participate in project progress and material review meetings.

Quality and Compliance

  • Maintain material certificates, test reports, and all relevant documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to client, project, and company material management procedures and standards.

Work Environment

This is a full-time role based in Ras Tannurah, Eastern, focusing on critical CRPO projects. The position requires active participation in safety initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within logistics and material handling operations.
