About the Role

AECOM Saudi Arabia is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Duba. This full-time position requires an experienced professional with over 10 years of experience in the field. The role involves performing specific and moderate portions of broader engineering assignments, gathering and correlating basic engineering data, and working on detailed or routine engineering tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level engineers on technical concepts and best practices.
Perform work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with minimal supervision.
Independently complete all tasks necessary for primary design elements of engineering works.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, calculations, and test reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure design feasibility and compliance with industry standards.
Conduct design reviews and quality assurance testing to verify system performance and reliability.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and methodologies.
Communicate technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.

Problem Solving and Discrepancy Resolution

The Senior Electrical Engineer will propose approaches to solve new problems encountered, utilizing modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments. This includes identifying discrepancies in results and implementing appropriate corrective actions to ensure project integrity and success.

Required Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in an electrical engineering role.
Demonstrated developmental experience in a professional engineering position.
Proficiency in established engineering procedures and data correlation techniques.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Duba, Saudi Arabia. The role requires consistent on-site presence to collaborate with teams and manage engineering assignments effectively.
