The Role of Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Lucid Motors-LA is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to join its team in King Abdullah Economic City, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for leading and overseeing the continuous operation and maintenance of facility systems. The supervisor ensures optimal performance, safety, and compliance across all facility operations. This role requires a technically proficient engineer capable of supervising outsourced teams, managing emergencies, and maintaining seamless operations across all shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure uninterrupted facility operations by providing engineering oversight across all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays 24/7.
• Supervise and guide outsourced maintenance teams, ensuring proper execution of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Act as the subject matter expert for critical building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and Building Management Systems (BMS), ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Monitor contractor performance, enforce safety and quality standards, and validate compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Lead the technical response to facility emergencies, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate rapid recovery actions.
• Review and validate maintenance reports, shift logs, and incident records. Provide technical input for root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and internal policies.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related engineering field.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency as an engineer.
• Expertise in critical building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and BMS.

Work Schedule and Environment

This is a full-time position based in King Abdullah Economic City, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires oversight across all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure 24/7 uninterrupted facility operations.
