About the Role

Petromin Corporation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our financial records and supporting sound financial decision-making within the organization.

Role Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for the comprehensive management of financial records, preparation of accurate financial reports, and ensuring strict compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This role also involves contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support management insights.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Ensure accurate, complete, and timely recording of all financial transactions.
Perform regular reconciliations to identify and resolve financial discrepancies through thorough analysis of account information.
Contribute to the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Conduct financial analysis to provide data-driven insights that support management decision-making.
Support the management of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Ensure continuous compliance with all applicable financial laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Collaborate effectively with internal and external auditors and prepare necessary audit schedules.
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding all financial information.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in an accounting role, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in our offices in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic corporate environment.
