About the Role

Courtyard by Marriott in Makkah is seeking an Agent Reservation Sales to manage reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations. This full-time position involves direct interaction with guests via phone, fax, and email to ensure their accommodation needs are met efficiently and accurately. The role requires a strong focus on guest service and adherence to company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations received through various channels.
• Identify guest reservation needs, determine appropriate room types, and verify availability and rates.
• Explain guarantee, special pricing, and cancellation policies to callers.
• Address and document special requests from guests.
• Answer inquiries regarding hotel facilities, services, and room details.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue and communicate VIP reservation information.
• Input and access data within the reservation system, ensuring accuracy of blocked rooms and reservations.
• Manage group accommodation lists, review room blocking, and maintain organized files for all groups.
• Define appropriate billing accounts in accordance with Accounting policies.
• Adhere to all brand and hotel policies and procedures, including maintaining a professional appearance and protecting company assets.
• Welcome guests according to company standards, anticipate and address their needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate clearly and courteously, prepare accurate written documents, and respond to phone calls professionally.
• Develop positive professional relationships with colleagues and collaborate to achieve common goals.
• Comply with quality assurance requirements and standards.
• Perform visual verification of information in various formats and handle objects weighing up to kg independently.
• Execute other duties as assigned by management that are consistent with the position.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year of related work experience is preferred, though candidates with 0-1 years of experience will be considered.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No specific licenses or certifications are required for this role.

Work Environment

This role is based in Makkah and operates on a full-time schedule. The Agent Reservation Sales will work within a team environment, interacting with various hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
