The Production Officer Role

Almarai is seeking a Production Officer to join its operations in Makkah, King Abdullah Economic City, or Rabigh. This full-time role involves leading a self-directed, multi-functional team dedicated to the efficient processing and packing of seafood products, including shrimp, salmon, and various other fish species. The Production Officer ensures that all activities adhere to company specifications, production targets, and stringent food safety standards, while maintaining product quality, yield, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate team members to achieve daily seafood production targets in accordance with product specifications and quality standards.
• Provide on-the-job training and coaching to employees, ensuring all tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and food safety requirements.
• Oversee seafood processing activities, including cutting, trimming, glazing, grading, and packing, to ensure adherence to yield and quality targets.
• Review production plans in collaboration with the Planning Department to guarantee product availability according to established schedules.
• Maximize service to internal customers by ensuring products are delivered at the right time, with the correct specifications.
• Ensure all seafood products consistently meet company quality and safety standards.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position within Almarai's facilities located in Makkah, King Abdullah Economic City, or Rabigh. The role operates within a dynamic multinational team focused on supporting the group's ongoing growth plans.
