About the Role

Flow Progressive Logistics is seeking a Health Safety Environment Officer to join their team in Makkah, specifically covering King Abdullah Economic City and Makkah. This full-time role focuses on ensuring workplace safety and compliance with health and safety regulations, protecting employees from risks, ill health, injury, or death.

Role Overview

The Health Safety Environment Officer is responsible for controlling workplace risks and ensuring that the company adheres to all health and safety laws. This involves developing and implementing policies, fostering a strong safety culture, and conducting regular inspections and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and apply Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) policies and procedures.
• Cultivate a strong safety culture across the facility.
• Translate department goals into practical safety plans.
• Regularly inspect work areas, equipment, and processes.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, and recommend corrective actions.
• Identify hazards and conduct risk assessments.
• Ensure employees have and properly use required protective equipment.
• Deliver safety training to employees and new joiners.
• Prepare inspection and incident reports.
• Stay informed about current Saudi health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with managers to maintain safe operations without disrupting work.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in health, safety, and environment roles. The ability to develop and implement safety protocols, conduct thorough investigations, and deliver effective training is essential for this position.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, covering operations in King Abdullah Economic City and Makkah. The role requires proactive engagement with various departments to integrate safety practices seamlessly into daily operations.
