IT Assistant Manager

About the Role

Plaza Premium Group is seeking an IT Assistant Manager to oversee end-to-end IT functions for its Cluster 2 lounges across Saudi Arabia, specifically in Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role requires 5-10 years of experience and involves managing IT projects, ensuring operational availability, and providing high-level IT support to guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support IT functions across KSA region locations, including lounges and offices.
• Provide leadership and support to the Management team, including organizing and implementing the IT strategic plan.
• Lead the delivery and support of all IT initiatives (global and local) in the region, ensuring proper project management, change control, and budget adherence in collaboration with HQ IT teams.
• Oversee ongoing operations of all IT solutions and services to meet business needs and SLAs, ensuring timely problem resolution and excellent customer service.
• Install, support, and maintain computer hardware, network, and software infrastructure.
• Ensure proper functioning of all computer systems, including file servers, data backup, database servers, POS terminals, CCTV, internet connection, PA System, WAN, and VPN.
• Negotiate competitive costs for systems and services by developing beneficial relationships with vendors.
• Analyze reported IT problems and recommend corrective, preventive, and improvement measures.
• Maintain proper administration records for IT equipment inventory, application software inventory, software licenses, IT equipment movement, networking, and other IT-related information.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to end-users.
• Perform any additional ad hoc IT duties as assigned.

Project Management Focus

This role is accountable for project management related to the delivery of IT capabilities for new business development projects, such as new outlet openings and B2B partnership opportunities. This involves coordination with HQ IT, business partner IT, and local vendors for IT network, infrastructure, and business applications.

Operational Availability and Support

The IT Assistant Manager is responsible for ensuring a high level of operational availability and stability of IT systems. This includes providing high-level IT support services to both guests and staff, with coverage for computer systems and data, either on-site or remotely, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess between 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in IT management and support.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, supporting operations across the KSA region. The role requires flexibility to provide support outside standard business hours as dictated by operational demands.
