About the Opportunity

Rotana Jabal Omar Makkah is seeking a Loss Prevention Supervisor to join its team in Makkah. This full-time position is designed for committed security professionals with 0-1 years of experience who are looking to advance their careers in the hospitality sector. The primary objective of this role is to protect and safeguard all hotel guests, employees, their belongings, and all hotel assets.

Role Purpose and Context

As a Loss Prevention Supervisor, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure environment within the hotel premises. This involves overseeing security operations and ensuring that all protective measures are effectively implemented to prevent loss and ensure the safety of individuals and property. The position requires a proactive approach to security management and adherence to established protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise other Security Officers and conduct regular briefings for the team.
• Assign duties to security personnel as per instructions received from the Security Manager.
• Prepare duty rosters and conduct departmental orientation for new employees joining the security team.
• Coordinate effectively with local police and CID authorities when required for investigations or incidents.
• Conduct daily checks of the property for any signs of damage or potential security incidents.
• Guard entrances and exits, and submit comprehensive daily reports to the Lobby Manager.
• Monitor designated areas using the closed-circuit television (CCTV) system to identify and address security concerns.
• Ensure that all 'Fire Exit' doors are kept free of blockages at all times and that fire and safety equipment are correctly positioned and accessible.
• Perform all assigned tasks consistently in line with hotel standards and adhere to all relevant legal and statutory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a security professional role.
• Demonstrated commitment to security protocols and safeguarding assets.
• Ability to supervise a team and coordinate security operations effectively.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, requiring a presence within the hotel environment. The role involves working closely with other security personnel and hotel management to ensure a safe and secure setting for all guests and staff.
