About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Loss Prevention Supervisor for its location in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is specifically open to Saudi Nationals. The role involves ensuring the safety and security of the property and its occupants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols of all property areas, secure rooms, and assist guests with access.
  • Perform emergency response drills, daily physical hazard and safety inspections, investigations, and interviews.
  • Monitor Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems and alarm systems.
  • Authorize, monitor, and document access to secured areas.
  • Provide assistance to guests and employees during emergency situations.
  • Respond to accidents, coordinate with Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and administer first aid or CPR as needed.
  • Gather information and complete reports, maintaining strict confidentiality and releasing information only to authorized personnel.
  • Defuse disturbances in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
  • Resolve safety hazard situations and manage all interruptions and complaints.
  • Escort unauthorized individuals from the property.
  • Ensure compliance with all alcoholic beverage control laws.
  • Utilize proper code responses to call for assistance and provide necessary paperwork to employees.

Employee Support and Development

Assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees. Serve as a role model and the initial point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Requires 2-5 years of related work experience.
  • Requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • A high school diploma or *** equivalent is preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to perform various physical tasks, including:

  • Reading and visually verifying information in various formats.
  • Visually inspecting tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
  • Entering and locating work-related information using computers or point-of-sale systems.
  • Moving at a speed required to respond to work situations, which may include running, walking, or jogging.
  • Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods or entire work shifts.
  • Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, and objects weighing over 75 pounds with assistance.
  • Grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Navigating narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
  • Moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and service ramps.
  • Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

This includes reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management, and completing all required safety training and certifications. Maintaining a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance is essential. Confidentiality of proprietary information and protection of company assets must be upheld. All employees are expected to welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guest service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Clear and professional communication, both verbal and written, is required, along with appropriate telephone etiquette. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and responding appropriately to employee concerns are key aspects of the role. Ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards is also required.
