About Rotana Hotels and the Night Auditor Role

Rotana Hotels is seeking a Night Auditor to join our team in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for finance professionals with 0-1 years of experience who are dedicated to maintaining high standards of service and financial accuracy.

Role Overview

The Night Auditor is primarily responsible for conducting comprehensive night audits and preparing essential financial summaries. This includes detailed reporting on rebates, paid outs, and daily revenue, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.

Key Responsibilities

• Review the Night Auditors Logbook for any specific instructions provided by the Income Auditor.
• Verify approvals for complimentary rooms, late checkouts without charges, and day use room charges.
• Print the business call journal and ensure that all long-distance calls and faxes are supported by a Business Calls Authorization voucher.
• Verify guest ledger charges from concessionaires against their summary reports.
• Review the room rate variance report and accurately post room and tax for the day.
• Print the ‘Revenue Report today Gross and Budget’ and correctly split service charge and tax for room revenue.
• Print various financial reports and reconcile them with supporting vouchers, including visa income, ‘Marhaba’ charges, and miscellaneous income.
• Export Micros revenue data to the Opera live data system and perform pre-audit backups.
• Execute file maintenance procedures and prepare the daily revenue report.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Night Auditor position should have a background in finance or a related discipline. The primary experience requirement for this role is:

• 0-1 years of professional experience, ideally within a finance, accounting, or auditing capacity.

This is a full-time position based in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires working night shifts to manage and audit daily financial operations effectively.
